There are many activities available at the ranch. We have trail riding, hiking, catch and release fishing, and great spots for cooling off in the creeks.

Our marked trails are called Pop A Top, PG-13 and Jar Head but you are welcome to ride anywhere on the 700 acre ranch. We also have miles and miles of old jeep roads if you’d rather not get off the beaten path.
 

If you would like to do some training with your horse, our arena is complete with an obstacle course. Our trails offer all levels of challenges for training. They are used for endurance training and jumping. If you working on ground work, there is also a lighted covered round pen with viewing stands.

For your more reflective moments, the ranch has a meditation walk that goes down to Jung Creek.  At creek side you will find a bench for your quiet time.

SISTERCREEK RANCH is surrounded by many other attractions for those who want to take a break from riding the trails or just come for a visit and don’t bring their horses. An abundance of wineries can be found throughout the area and the famous Luckenbach, Texas, with its Pickers Circle, Friday night dances and authentic old dancehall, is only 10 minutes away. The quaint town of Fredericksburg, where you can visit the many antique and souvenir shops and marvel at the German pioneer architecture, is just down the road and San Antonio, home of the San Antonio River Walk and, of course, the Alamo, is an easy one-hour drive south. In addition to all these attractions you’ll find golf at Buckhorn Golf Club or Lady Bird Johnson Park, Wildseed Farm or Trade Days on the third weekend of every month. Shopping galore and fine restaurants. Plenty to do if you’re so inclined.
